Sustainability
As the world’s largest manufacturer of adhesive-, binder- and latex-free airlaids, we naturally also have a great responsibility. For this reason, we are certified according to the requirements of PEFC, the largest institution for ensuring sustainable forest management. We use only chlorine-free bleached pulp and have implemented efficient energy management in our operations according to ISO 50001 : 2018 with heat recovery and water treatment. As a result, we generate only low CO2 emissions and avoid the generation of wastewater through water-free production. This saves energy as well as raw materials and optimizes our cost structures.

As part of the local and international community, McAirlaid’s supports a total of nine charitable organizations, institutions and associations for children, for sick, injured and disadvantaged people or people with disabilities with donations in kind or money. MeatPad Plus achieves high suction performance thanks to the innovative SuperCore Plus and does not require any superabsorbents.
